Digital Fuel Names VP of Worldwide Services

SAN MATEO, Calif. - August 4, 2004 Digital Fuel, the leader in service level agreement (SLA) management software, announced today that it has appointed Derek Taylor as Vice President of Services. Derek will be responsible for all worldwide services functions including business consulting, solution implementation, training, maintenance and support. His role also includes the management and support of Digital Fuel's increasing solution and implementation partners network.

Derek joins the company with over 15 years of experience managing and delivering services for Fortune 500 customers. Most recently he served as VP of Professional Services of Extensity (now part of GEAC Computers), where he helped build the services function from inception into a multi-million dollar services organization, managed implementation partners such as Capgemini and KPMG, and delivered solutions serving thousands of users across 30 countries. Derek's previous experience includes management roles at TCSI, TRW, and Fireman's Fund Insurance.
