Digital Fuel Expands European Management Ranks


Former Group IT Director of Royal Mail Joins Team

Digital Fuel, provider of the ServiceFlow™ platform for real-time management and automation of sourced IT and business services, has appointed Les Graney to be Associate Director of EMEA. Renown for his leadership and expertise in IT management and outsourcing, Dr. Graney will provide strategic consulting services to Digital Fuel customers.

Dr. Graney has over 30 years of senior IT management experience in both the public and private sector in Europe and the US. Les served as Group IT Director at Royal Mail Group until earlier this year, where he oversaw a number of major programme implementations including SAP ERP, Siebel CRM, and the creation of the company's e-business initiative. In addition, he had responsibility for the outsourcing of the company's IT service provision in a ten-year deal worth $2.5 billion.

Prior to Royal Mail, Les was Vice-President, Information Management, Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Pharmaceuticals Europe, a role which covered 40 countries. In addition, he was CIO for BMS's global Over-the-Counter business, and was the leader of the company-wide Y2K project. Prior to BMS, he held a series of CIO and strategic roles for British Petroleum, including CIO for BP Marine and BP Spain. He was also responsible for developing the company's outsourcing policy.
